Summer Care 2026 Registration Is Now Open!

Summer Care Registration is officially open! Summer Care takes place from Tuesday, May 26th through August 18th from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM Daily.

Registration costs $25.00 per student.

Summer Care is $45.00 a day, there is not a multi student discount.

eLearning Day

eLearning Day Monday, March 16, 2026

Dear Families,

Due to poor visibility this morning that is expected to worsen, today will be an eLearning day for all students. Teachers will post assignments and instructions through the usual online platforms. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions. Athletic and activity event cancellations or changes will be communicated later in the day.

Our Mission

The District’s Mission is to prepare all students for success, and we are committed to making sure all students are challenged and supported in their learning experiences. Over the past 15 years, the Heyworth School District has gone through many changes. Our new Senior High School addition was finished in 2006, accompanied by our new Hornet Stadium and all weather track. In 2019 our new district office, weight room and community fitness center, along with Hornet Gymnasium were added onto our existing Junior/Senior High School.
