Music For Miles September 20th!

🚗🎶 Music for the Miles: All-Wheels Show! 🎶🚗

Join the Heyworth Band and Chorus on September 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Heyworth High School parking lot!

🚘 $10 vehicle entry fee
🗳️ $1 popular vote
🏆 Awards presented at 1:30 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the Heyworth Band and Chorus. Come enjoy an afternoon of great vehicles and community support! 🎵

FFA Salute to Ag Food Drive Tomorrow Night!

HEYWORTH FFA FOOD DRIVE THIS FRIDAY!

Come support the Heyworth FFA at Friday night’s football game against GCMS for Salute to Agriculture night!

Bring a food item to donate to the Heyworth Food Pantry and get a raffle ticket for EVERY item you bring!

The more food you donate, the more chances you have to win! We’ll be giving away a variety of awesome prize packs throughout the event.

Help us fill the shelves, support our community, and cheer on the Hornets!

Important reminders for the 2026–2027 Heyworth Athletic Season

Important reminders for the 2026–2027 Heyworth athletic season:

Admission is cash only. Heyworth K–12 students, seniors, and military members are admitted free. Adult admission is $4, and non-Heyworth student admission is $3.

Elementary-aged children must attend with a parent or guardian and remain supervised. All guests should be respectful, help keep facilities clean, avoid restricted areas, and refrain from playing football during games. The lower football lot is reserved for tailgate family passholders and accessible parking during varsity football games.

Most athletic events can also be streamed live through the NFHS Network. Thank you for supporting the Heyworth Hornets! 🐝

Our Mission

The District’s Mission is to prepare all students for success, and we are committed to making sure all students are challenged and supported in their learning experiences. Over the past 15 years, the Heyworth School District has gone through many changes. Our new Senior High School addition was finished in 2006, accompanied by our new Hornet Stadium and all weather track. In 2019 our new district office, weight room and community fitness center, along with Hornet Gymnasium were added onto our existing Junior/Senior High School.
